Works flawlessly
Works great, adds full iPod functionality for both my iPod Classic and my iPhone 3G. Nice feature is that the charge pin has been update on these, my old UConnect needed a charge adapter for my 3G, whereas this cable charges it just fine. It's very nice to have my iPhone in the glove box of my Jeep while my radio gives me fully integrated iPod control, UConnect Bluetooth features, and charges my phone all at the same time.

2010 Jeep Liberty Limited with Media Center 730N CD/DVD/HDD/NAV Radio
The correct part number to add an iPod is Mopar 82211853. This is not the number Jeep has in their system. The cable they list is incorrect and does not work. Get the cable here and you'll be in great shape. Installation takes about 30 minutes if you have a drill, 1 1/8" hole saw, regular and phillips screw drivers and a little super glue for the grommet. Hint, take the glove box door off when drilling. Just release the two tabs on the door and slide to the right. The door will come right off. The part listed above works perfectly. Take care...

Works Great!
This item works just as described. I am able to control/play my iphone 3Gs through my factory RER stereo. It also charges the unit. Once you figure out how to get your center console off, the cable install is a simple plug and play install.

Perfect addition to users w/out the iPod Interface
This cable really is easy to install, you basically unplug the matching cables behind the stereo, plug in the interface cable, plug in the old cables and re-install everything. My only minor complaint is the thickness of the cable as it's quite a bit thicker than a typical USB iPod cable, but it works as described, no special setting to turn on, no computer hookup, just plug & play.
