Didn't need box
I didn't realize my 2004 PT Cruiser already had the cabin filter box, although a little different in that it apparently came from the factory and has quarter inch screen that snaps into little retaining snaps. Your box doesn't have the little holding the screen. I simply installed the filter into my unit,, now I won't have to replace the box in the future. I guess I'll just have to discard the box you sent. There is no reference to the cabin filter in either the owners manual or the shop manual. The same situation was with my 2001 Focus ZX3.
