Great item
the emblem is completely oem brand new. i put it on my truck and it looks factory.
The plus side: it won't ever rust. The minus: plastic, it probably won't be stolen like a vintage hood emblem.
Didn't think this one through; wanted a Dodge badge/emblem for my new pickup which is having its bed replaced by a steel flatbed. The ram is sculptural, bold, and muscular, and anything with the word 'BIG' goes well on a truck. But it is not chrome, it is not aluminum, it is an extruded/molded thing that I probably paid too much for. As a brilliant pol once quipped, "Fool me once, shame on...the fool who let vanity ...I pity the fool."

Wish they made this item out of real metal. After re-building my 1929 DeSoto and having door handles and other parts plated by Verdonne's in Penn. it would be cheap enough to have a nice item like this last 80-100 years like my items on the DeSoto will. Maybe I'll pay the dollars and send them off to be cast with stainless/matte finish.
