The best option on my Wrangler so far!
The Uconnect was disabled on Wranglers due to wind noise when top down, I was told by the dealer. But with this kit,and some programming, presto! Uconnect enabled. Thanks for the quick shipping!

Adds key missing feature to my Jeep
I was bummed when I found out that UConnect was disabled on my Jeep wrangler. After reasearching, I found out that by adding this mic kit, and enabling in the menu, I would have full UConnect capability. It works great and I love not fumbling with my phone anymore. If you have the iPhone and an 09 radio, then add the iPod cable and you get bluetooth, iPod control, and charging all from your MyGig

Works very well
The mic installed easily and works very well. I understand why jeep does not want to make this a factory option because it will not work great with the top down at high speed, but it does open up all of the uconnect capabilities.

GREAT!!!!!!
I Wasn't sure at first if this would be all I needed with the RER System with nav for my Wrangler.. Low and Behold. 8 Screws and then the hardest part was deciding where i wanted to place my Mic. (it's now left of the touch screen). WORTH the money!!!!

Best 50 dollar invest ever!!!
I received my Uconnect Microphone Kit for my 2010 dodge challenger r/t with the RER system on a wednesday. Installed it myself the same day, took about an hour. Worked immediately didnt have to take it to dealer for dealer scan code. Love it would recommend it to anyone.

Install was a breeze but puzzling
All in all, this thing is pretty simple. It does what it says it does, game over. Plenty of wire to route the mic wherever your heart desires. Only thing that was bizarre to me is that there was something already some wires in the spot where my microphone went. What were those?! I unplugged them for the microphone and have no idea what functionality I may have lost, because everything seems to be fine. Any thoughts?

Good Quality Microphone
This microphone is much better than the other ones you can order online. The sound is clear, there isn't a lot of background noise heard by the person you're calling. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.

Included installation instructions not very good, but install is a cinch if you look elsewhere for dash/stereo removal instructions.
